Tyres and iva.
Whats the lowest speed you think I could get away with for iva for a locost with a 2 L 150bhp engine.
My tyres are only rated to 112mph which is plenty for me and I doubt it will do much more anyway.
What have others put down on the form.
cheers

The rating has to be higher than the max speed of the car. Guess you have S ratedthen so you're going to have to declare max speed at 110 on the
IVA form. The inspector won't (rightly) accept that and you'd either fail test or have to prove that the gearbox/diff/tyre combo would rev
the engine out at 110mph. You're going to need at least H rated (130mph) and put max at 120 or 125 I'd expect to be believable.
Do you really want low speed rated tyres on your new Sports Car?
