IVA and ignition switch

I have an on/off 2 position ignition switch i wanted to use. The only trouble is you can remove the key both with the ignition on and off. Is this likely to be a problem for the IVA?

would say so, I dont believeit is allowable for the enging e to still be able to run with the key removed after all the key is part of the immobilisation of a vehicle

Think you'd fail with that. I have a 2 position switch for my ignition and avoided ones like yours for that reason. Durite do a specific ignition 2 position switch that the key can't be removed from in the on position. They're dearer than a standard key switch though.
