Side lights
Thinking about investing in a pair of goggle sport headlights for the Indy, although they do not have side lights intigrated, do I need side lights?

Yes.

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

As long as the beam pattern is road legal, why not just stick an LED in the reflector somewhere?

Thinking about it I may be able to drill a hole in the back of the reflector and locate a bulb through a grommet?

It is definitely a good idea to use the type of LED bulb that diffuses the light and takes full advantage of the reflector. Do a search on LED bulbs
on eBay and you will find lots of suitable candidates.
Something like this maybe eBay Item but it will require a conventional wedge type socket to be installed - still quite easy though

Raz

Cheers for the link Raz, took the plunge and located the lights this week and arrived this morning, just drilled the rear of the reflector with a 1/8
drill bit. You mention a wedge type socket....?????
