mk indy chassis receipt
Hi Guys,
Some of you will know my situation with obtaining my chassis but for those who don't..
I ordered the car to be built by someone and they couldn't manage it so I ended up with just a chassis but because of the situation I got no
receipt (and none of the parts I paid for!).
Anyway, for the IVA test does anyone have a receipt I could copy to show the IVA people the chassis came from MK?
Don't want it to be registered as anything different just because I can't produce the paperwork.

have you asked MK if they could provide another receipt? surely they keep records of who they sell to?

sideways, thoroughly used, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming... "f*ck, what a trip!"

Not yet but I'd like to get a receipt quickly and they don't do quickly.

I had a similar situation - I bought my chassis 2nd hand - it was about 6 years old, and I used a Luego reciept from another very helpful LCB member
who emailed it to me.
Just to correct you on one point - you need the reciepts for all major parts for registration @ DVLA, not VOSA - you submit them with your V55, V627
and IAC which you will get from your successful IVA test.
All Vosa require is:
A few photos to prove you have built the car
IVA application form
Amateur built declaration.
£450 (which they can ring you for when they need it).
Oh, yes and a correctly-built car!
Hope this helps?
Luego Locost C20XE.
Build start: October 6th 2008.
IVA passed Jan 28th 2011.
First drive Feb 10th 2011.
First show: Stoneleigh 1st/2nd May 2011.
'Used up' first engine may 3rd 2011!
Back on the road with 2nd engine may 24th
First PASA mad drive 26/7/11
Sold to Mike in Methyr Tydvil 19/03/14

keep your whole situation with the car quiet from the iva folk...theyre not very open to things like that...

Yeah, agree with the above.
When you're doing the DVLA bit you tell them the manufacturer name and model name.
Mine's a Locost... but I claimed my surname as the manufacturer and chose a model name that could easily be made sequential if I register other
cars.
Cheers,
James

Managed to contact Danny @ MK and he sorted me out with a receipt.
