Oh the joys of the DVLA
Well after much waiting ive just received my registration and tax disk (yay !!!!)
Got my new registration which was just what i was after, but (and bearing in mind that its a Spire GTR), my tax disk says that i now own a
'SPITFIRE' !!!!!!
Not got my V5 yet - has anyone else had a similar problem and how hard is it to change ?
Cheers

Love is like a snowmobile, speeding across the frozen tundra.
Which suddenly flips, pinning you underneath.
At night the ice-weasels come...

If the v5 is wrong, correct it, sign the owners declaration and send it back with a covering letter. They get them wrong all the time. Quickly
corrected and sent back. No problem.
Tax disc ... Just leave it

Agreed - get it corrected on the V5C. Leave the tax disc and only bother changing it if they ask

Sounds similar to when CCC (or similar) put a 27litre engine in a Rover. It came back 3 times with 2.7litre!
