IVA Forms Engine Number

Hi Guys,
Just filling out the IVA forms, however my new zetec engine has no stamped engine number on it as far as i can see. A couple of cast numbers but thats it.
Has anyone else come across this issue? What did you put on the IVA form engine number slot etc..
Kind Regards
Ed

Quick, get out the number punches and stamp your engine with whatever number you want.

And then put the number on your form

On my silvertop it it is on the nearside near the bellhousing above the starter motor. It may be faintly stamped and painted over.

That's an easy one, just stamp "KNICKED" on the block. Simples!

Hi Ed

I will check my engine tomorrow and see the format that ford used..

you will need to date the engine using the correct prefix and then the correct amout of numbers..

you could always date it as pre 95 and make the emmissions test easier!!!

p.s. I think all new crate engine's will not be stamped
