Harnesses and brake bias bar

Hi guys,

I'm taking the plunge and taking my race car for IVA. The bit I was particularly worried about was the emissions but I took it to the local garage with the laptop and got the Power Commander set up so it comfortably met the levels (Kawasaki ZX10 motor).

What's the situation with 6 point harnesses and IVA? I do have some cheapy 4 point CE marked harnesses but I'd need to find some bolts, spacers and bolt head covers so would prefer to keep my harnesses if poss. I'm struggling to work out why the harnesses should be an issue. They can be undone with one hand (aircraft style twist release) and the mounting points should be fine. I didn't have any issues getting my Ultima through SVA with 6 point harnesses with a similar latch.

Am I going to need to stick lock nuts AND roll pins through them to get the brake bias bar through? Is there local variation on interpretation of the rules for this? Again when I took the Ultima I just had a locknut on there and they were happy with that.

Any advice appreciated.
