SVA Passed - & a point to note

Very chuffed to have passed my SVA this week on the second attempt - feels great after nearly 2 years of building.

The main point of my posting is to pass on the following possible help;

Southampton SVA failed me on the hose from the brake resevoir to the brake master cylinders. I bought the hose from Europa as part of a kit - the right EPDM stuff for sure but Southampton would not accept the hose as "fit for purpose" ie not reinforced or marked to prove it was brake fluid resistant. I had the receipt and everything & it's only gravity fed.

Europa have been very helpful but at the end of the day, after much research, i got a braided hose with markings from Merlin motorsport. I am told that it is mainly Southampton that pick up on this hose but it may effect others.

Also they piked up on a ridge on the Tiger supplied wing mirrors - they tried to fail me on this despite the mirrors being E marked - after a phone call I won!

Just waiting for a reg......... added some photos.

I like your head rests. Have you got a close-up of the fixings?

A bit of slapstick never hurt anyone.
