Headlamps and Side Repeaters

Hi all..
Having seen people fitting their repeater light into the headlight I was about to do the same..

However... I read this..
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ --

Note, the VOSA guidence notes the examiner uses states must be visable +/- 420mm from repeater position. This means 420mm down which in effect means you need to ne able to see it from about 6 inches (150mm ) off the ground from the rear. This means the repeater in effect has to be on the outside edge of the car or very high.

I think i am 99% safe by putting them on the rear wheel arch then put them where I like after pass?
any comments?
cheers
Jon

Required Standard
3. All lamps and reflectors fitted to the vehicle must be fixed and not
move by swivelling, deflecting or otherwise while the vehicle is in
motion.

My front wing with a repeater would move and swivel when in motion ...

The rear arch is well within 2.6m and seems a logical 'pass'.

you can put them on front arch. i did and iva tester was happy last week.
the repeaters are recessed into the arch and look tidy.

I'm going to put mine on the headlamp once passed - seems like a great place for them
You have yours not only where I was going to put them - but on the same wings I was going to buy !

There was a specific exemption for repeaters on 7 type vehicles and I'd be very suprised if it has been removed.
