IVA Help Required - Paperwork
I'm just filling out the paperwork to apply for the IVA and I need some help;
Question 3t: What is the engine maximum power AND the engine speed at which it is obtained?
kw @ rpm
OR
bhp @ rpm
My engine in the Indy is a 2003 5PW R1.
Any ideas what I can answer for this question?
Cheers.

Some have put a slightly lower rpm value than the actual figure. This is to assist in the noise test as its done at a percentage of peak rpm. I
pinched maybe 500 rpm some lower it by much more. However if you have a pretty knowledgeable tester he may know what you're up to.
My carbed R1 went down as 150bhp @ 9500rpm and the tester never questioned it. I only just squeezed through noise test too!

The required info is the max power rpm. In other words they want to know the RPM at which it makes max power. They use it to calculate the RPM to test
exhaust noise at. Test is done at 3/4 max power RPM (or failing to know that 2/3 of max revs).
