Emmissions test and mot
Hi there,
I've been talking today to a kit car manufacturer about bike engined cars. His latest car is going to be track day only as he does not intend
to sva it because he believes the sva emissions may have to be repeated at the mot as well in the near future. Has anybody else heard this as i am a
little worried about pursuing a bike engined build if this is the case.

I don't think they will tighten the MOT on vehicles already registered and on the road. Normally they set a cut off date and state vehicles
registered or SVA tested after that will need to pass a harder test, thats if the rumour is true at all.
