Help filling out iva forms for Mk Indy

Hi there, just looking at filling out my iva forms AGAIN! I filled the first set out in 2010 and never did get to test

The bits I'm stuck on are

Section 4 vehicle details original design laden weights of the vehicle -
Previously I had put
Axle 1 450kg
Axle 2 450kg
Gross 900kg
Train and towable mass I had left blank?
Is the above correct for an Indy?

The other question is
What is the engine maximum power AND the engine speed at which it is obtained?
My engine is an injected 06 R1, previously I had written 172bhp @11000rpm
Would this be ok as I believe they use these figures for the noise test?

The last question, engine size? Mines a 1000cc so I had previously written 998cm3, is this correct?

regarding weight yes.. leave all the others blank

it too googled my gsxr 1000 details and put down the same as you although you'll need a haynes manual for iva or i was asked for one at mine for engine spec info..

wikipedia search for your engine..

180 hp (130 kW), 128.7 kW (172.6 hp) @ 12,500 rpm[18]

998cc would be correct...

hope that helps..

Agree with the above but..

The power/revs question is only used to determine the revs at which to do the noise test (3/4 of max power revs or 2/3 max revs if not declared) so any little stretching of the truth might help with that... 11750rpm for instance If you go too far they wont be fooled though so don't be tempted to put 8000.

...and whatever Yamaha claim 5vy R1's never make 180bhp. That includes 10bhp of claimed ram-air @200mph and another 10bhp of fiddle factor!
