registration frustration

Hi guys,

Quick one, just filling out the forms for registration,

The car is a locost, newly built chassis and plenty of new and used parts, cleaned up cortina uorights, bits of sierra, new wilwood calipers and a freelander diff, and the engine is a used zzr1200 engine.

I have both v55/4 and v55/5 forms, which do i fill out, i dont have enough receipts to go for a new reg plate (not Q) but dont want send off a used car form, wait a month to find out ive filled out the wrong one.

Regards jon

I believe you need to use the V55/4 which is the form to register a new vehicle, including new imported vehicles and newly-built (kit) cars

You will get a Q plate as no single donor was used

Don't forget you will need to send an application for tax including fee, as well as proof of insurance.

Oh and the all important original IAC certificate. MUST BE THE ORIGINAL and you wont get this back

Great stuff,

Never thought about insurance, I had best add it to my policy
