IVA rules on water hoses.
I have to route my water hoses for my zetec install. The larger hoses are fine. I am using large p clips to secure to the chassis. The smaller
flexible hoses I wondered what the rules are for their attachment.
Obviously the fuel hoses and brake lines have the strict fastening rules but do water hoses come under the same restrictions or are ties sufficient?

When i did my last IVA, i didn't actually have any supports at all for my coolant hoses, they were self supporting between the engine and rad
etc, wasn't even mentioned during the test

I don't think they are any regs on water hoses other than 'fit for purpose' and 'adequately' supported. Just use proper
hose and make sure they don't leak and are not dropping off.
