SVA today at Exeter

Well thanks for all the good wishes last night chaps they were much appreciated, here are the findings

FAIL

1 Instrument panel lower edge radius, it is 5mm but not soft enough so i need to put some soft rubber on it!!

2 Headlights need raising

3 4 pieces of rubber need fitting on forward projections (2 minute job) and 2 cable ties.

4 Front wings need re-positioning, not far enough forward apparently

5 Need to MAP my engine to bring down H/Carbons.

All in all the chap was very helpfull and fair, i didn't bother doing the little bits there as i need to move the wings and map the engine (help Zetec). Other than that for my first build i can't say that i am disappointed, i'd rather fail Knowing exactly what i now need to do and that it isn't that much really. Byron (the SVA chap) said they are only small points and the build was very good. Good day out i reckon, not the result you would hope for but looking forward to round 2!!Cheers all

Very nice car esspecially the engine installation and interior.

All in all pretty good result I'd say, just minor things easy to fix, you'll be on the road in no time, well done.

Rich.
