Proof of OwnerShip - ENGINE
OK heres the scoop,
I'm building an MK Indy
I have a 1.8 doner sierria for gearbox etc but not engine.
I have an 1.6 XR2 engine - from a mates car, he changed his engine. I know the reg but he's sold the car.
I can get a reciept to say I bought the engine from original vehicle. i.e proving its not nicked
Will SVA man accept this as proof of age?
I might be able to get a "copy" of the v5. to show where the engine originally came form - would this help.
The engine doner car is on the road with a 18.l zetec engine instead of its original 1.6cvh. I don;t know if the v5 was ever updated to show new
engine. I'm am not the owner of the engine doner vehicle.

A receipt to show it is not nicked is a good idea.
For proof of age you give the engine number to ford technical who fax or post you a confirmation.
