SVA Manual Length

Can some one just tell me how long the full SVA manual is? I know the draft is 178 pages. I assume that the full one is more than that!?

well there are 22 chapters and each chapter has individual page numbers, so it would take some time to work out how many pages there are in total.

However the draft version is remarkably similar to the paper version.

Interesting. As I emailed the guy selling this:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4557428598

Saying that the draft manual is 178 pages, and is he sure he has the full one. He replied saying that he thinks its the full one but he is not sure. Confusion....

The VOSA issued draft pdf copy was definely not the full manual, just the proposed changes that are now in the latest edition issued in March 2004.

Just had a count and I make it 225 pages.

I told him to take a look on my website at the draft one to download, and see if its the same as the version he has. I'm betting it is....

It's been said before, but...

Considering the cost of the car's components, and the cost of the SVA test, is £35 too much to pay?

It gives a lot of information, removes (most) ambiguity from the requirements, and is generally a help as the test approaches. I referred to my copy once or twice a week during the later stages of my build, which is more than can be said about Our Ron's book.

rgds,
David
