2nd time around but damn it feels good!
retest lasted at most 4 minutes! the very kind inspector adjusted the headlights for me as they were slightly out of line, he wandered around the car
walked off and came back with the MAC
dead happy! just gonna go pick up the number plates now!

local dvla office (nottingham) took a number, took a seat, took about 25 minutes total
all that was needed was.....
V55 form filled in
MAC certificate
2 forms of I.D. (i took both parts of my license and a credit card statement.)
1x cash filled wallet to pay the £131 tax and regstration
it was all very straight forward really. basicly though just take every bit of paper work you have for the car with you then you can't go wrong
good luck!

Well Done... What you building next?
1. The point of a journey is not to arrive.
2. Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway.

as per other post really, registartion was a easy pain free process.
no request for a MOT thankfully!
didn't get a age related plate but then i knew i wouldn't as i didn't have any details of my donor vehicle and wouldn't really
want a B reg car anyway
nottingham really were pretty helpfull. plus there's some not so bad female folk working in there

once the garage is up and sorted and i've got a few bits done on my other car i think it'll be another indy....next time it's having
a turbo and the name cosworth on the cam cover though
first drive out wasn't so bad, i made the fatal mistake really of compairing it to my other car so in a straight line i thinking come on!!! but
then on the bends it blew me away, never driven anything with such little body roll!
saw plenty of smiles as i went past the local pubs etc only person who seemed unimpressed was a BMW driving tosser who just had to get by even though
i was doing the limit on a tight road!
roll on daylight!!!

I really upset an Audi TT driver the other day - came onto a roundabout behind me and hassled me until we got to the exit onto the slip road - then I
floored it... he was WAY behind me! What makes it even better, he would have been REALLY upset if he knew that my car had a 30-year-old crossflow
under the bonnet!
Have fun.

John,
Well done mate.
Thinking I should apply for mine, but the thought of a major panic keeps putting me off.
May just have to do it anyway!!
Congrats again.

I passed an XK8 the other day. He was following something and daren't go past as the road was only 3 lanes wide. I did 2 laps of the
roundabout before he got round it as well.
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
