SVA manual online?
maybe a bit naughty but anyone know if the current SVA manual is online somewhere? (I have found a draft version which no longer is current).
My question relates to openings in bonnet, say you want to cut out a chunk so the carb air filters poke through. Is that allowed (must be as I see it
on many cars)? And any special treatment required to the edges i.e. trim?

Chester sportscars www.chestersportscars.co.uk
have a draft copy available to download. It is a March 2004 version. I don't know if this is current or not.

If someone can host it, I have a current version (not a draft) which I can upload.
It is a good quality scan of the latest version. It is an 18Mb PDF file.
Cheers,
Raz

There are a few versions doing the rounds.
My suggestion is to get the newest complete version you can find and then cross refer that to the draft version for any changes. That way, you can be
sure your'e not missing anything overlooked in the draft version (which ultimately seems a bit pointless to have by itself)

The WurzleGummage version has 228 pages against the draft's 178, looks good
If you can keep you head, whilst all others around you are losing theirs, you are not fully aware of the situation

I have been reliably informed that there are a few changes to the Mar04 version that affect seven type vehicles. I dont have further details than that
tho im afraid.

Same version I've got
Same as mine too. afaik it has been superceded. Probs not many changes though. ive just been led to believe that a couple of areas that seven type
cars struggled with have been clarified (side repeaters??).
