SVA checklist
Hi all, is there a point by point checklist out there to go through the car from front to back to see if all is well?? reading through that SVA manual
at the best of times is hard and then I don't fully understand it.

The trick with the SVA manual is not to try and read it all in one go. Pick a task - headlight position, for example - and read that bit only. Then
it becomes clearer. Do that, then repeat for the rear brake light, indicators, etc. One step at a time.
See what is required, read the column that tells you what means a fail, and DON'T PANIC!
If you get stuck on any bits, put a question up on this forum - there's enough people who've been through it to help you out.
It really isn't that bad, when you get into it.
Have fun,
David

If having read the SVA manual you're still not sure give the Vehicle Inspectorate a ring on 01792 458888 and ask to speak to an SVA engineer,
I've found them very helpful.
