fuel pipe runs

This might sound stupid, but if i run my plastic fuel inlet and return pipes through a piece of plastic conduit can i fix the it to the bodywork at longer distances that 300mm??

Wouldn't have thought so , just my opinion of course . I would rather they were secured with the proper clips at 300mm or less apart.

You would need to protect the pipes inside the conduit AND fasten the conduit every foot --- own goal.

i was thinking it was easier to just put single clips round the conduit than seperate ones round the fuel pipes, in the position i want the run to go.

This is one area whre the book is absolutely specific - must be fixed at intervals of not more than 300mm.
