Clear side repeaters
Can i use clear side repeaters with orange bulbs for sva or do i need orange lenses ?

Caterham do so shouldnt be a problem. Also a load of boring road cars do too.

Clear side repeaters
take a look at most of the 'boy racer-mobiles' that you see and you will find most have clear or coloured side repeaters. they must be e-marked and
have orange bulbs to light up orange if they are all that then no problems i dont think.
take a look at matthew clements' which is a factory built MK

If in doubt fit standard ones for the SVA, the MOT inspector doesn't check for E marks and as long as it flashes orange it passes! Alot of the
'aftermarket' boy racer goods are not E marked nor are alot of the motorcycle indicators that are quite common! I'm not saying you should go 'bog
standard' for the SVA and then change it afterwards but it does appear that many people do just that!
shit happens! (but why always to me!!)

I think/hope they will be fine. I picked up some new Rover ones as fitted to last of the old shape Mini, E marked with orange bulb.
