Hi

Please excuse my ignorance, I have just purchased a MK Indy Blade which was SVA'ed and first reg in uk on 22/07/2005, do I need to get an MOT this year or is it due in three years?

Thanks

Hello

Should be 3 years but the reminder allways seems to quote needing a valid MOT,i've had a problem taxing mine because of this but managed it online last year but not this.

I took my V5 to the post office to prove the car was registered in 2004 and that was enough to get the tax disc, although i must admit the price of an MOT is pretty cheap auto check on your car and worth every penny.

My problem is i dont like giving the gov money if i dont have to

Thank you

J
