lil help plz wiv mac form....

hi guys, just been filling out my mac form to apply for sva for my mk indy. i have a few Q's for the people who have done it...

1. I take it i have to make my own chassis no up and put it on the car, and then the form, or is this done at sva?

2.Ive asked for a pm test as i thought i could get there in good time then, do you think this is a good idea or is an am test best incase it fails and they can re-test in the afternoon?

3.Ive put down 6k revs for my engines max speed, its a 2ltr pinto does this sound about right?

4.Any idea what my max road speed should be put down as? 110mph?

5.does anyone know what mk say the design weights should be? axle1,2 and gross? it doesnt have any screen, heater, etc and has lightweigh seats.

thanks for your help!

1. Best to check with your local DVLA. Some will let you make one up yourself, others wont. Done before SVA test.

2. AM or PM, they only allow upto half a day for the test. Having said that, a morning test would be better, cos any small fixes you could do whilst there and at least stand a chance of a quick retest on the fail points.

3. I'd go for 5,000 They carry out the noise test @ 75% of declared RPM.

4. 110mph sounds about right. They only use it to check your tyre ratings

5. Design Weight Axle 1 - 400kg, Design Weight Axle 2 - 500kg. Gross Vehicle weight 900kg
