My SVA at Norwich

First things first! I omitted to mention one important person in my last post.
matty_64's dad Simon, who lent me his engine hoist when my ring gear fell off and gave me a replacement flywheel and who also scrounged a trailer for me to use when I took my car to Eye airfield. Thanks mate, sorry I didn't mention you first time around...must have been the excitement!
Now, I thought it might be helpful to others to list the fail points picked up at my first test.
These are as follows.
Leaking rear wheel cylinder,
Loose locknut on panhard rod,
No compensator on hanbrake cable,
Headlight alignment,
Lower front shock mounting fouling on shock absorber,
Front brake hose touching wishbone on full lock,
Use of foam rubber and silicon on projections on front suspension,
Noise 104.6db,
Gear lever gate sharp edges,
Roll bar bolts - insufficient strength,
Fog light rocker switch sticking out too far.
There were a couple of other minor bits that I can't recall. Needless to say it was all pretty easy to fix and the tester was surprised to see me back so quickly for my retest which was done in less than an hour.
If anyone would like any further information on any of the faults or how I got around them, please let me know. I will be glad to help.
Cheers
Jon
