In defense of DVLA
Having heard many stories of problems with the DVLA I thought it only fair to put a positive story over.
I applied just over a week ago to Chester having passed SVA at the end of June.
Inspector came out Monday (20 miles from Chester) and yesterday I got my documents for an "E" plate.
I didn't even have to take time off work to meet him as my lad is on holiday at the moment.
I'm off to get some plates at Halfrauds tonight and out for a blast at the weekend. Wicked!!!!
Less than a week and no problems.
I used to be apathetic but now I just don't care.

They did mine over the counter and i had already had my inspection before SVA so for me the DVLA are stars!!!!!

The Ipswich mob treated me quite well - but I wasn't in any sort of frantic hurry so I was happy to "go with the flow" as it
were.

Brighton DVLA are brilliant. I started the registration process in November last, with a home inspection a few days after submitting the forms. My own
VIN was acceptable also. After SVA on 12th June this year we were legally on the road on the 17th.
