S.V.A pass @ chelmsford

Hi all sva passed at chelmford today, only to find that chelmford dvla rqrs MOT aswell. This has been booked for tuesday then its the wait for the plates.

Last Sunday of the month, The Tulip Arbour lane Chelmsford, we are starting to get a good mix of cars but need a few more 12:00 on... Coffie and soft drinks for the drivers, good beer for the passengers.

NO THEY DON'T
Neither myself or Richard (BlockheadRich) had to have MOT.
I passed in May and Rich passed today.

Sorry forgot to say well done.
who did you get as tester? Mick?

Print out a copy of the following pages and take them to your local DVLA office:

Page 1
Page 2

On page 1 you will see a statement from their boss in Swansea that clearly says that an MOT is not required at initial registration.
I don't agree with their other sentiments, but that part is clear and useful to your cause.

You should post this in the Events area - you might get some northern foreigners as well (i.e. from Suffolk).
