right i have filled in the sva forms and i sent it back in the post today what do i do just sit and wait ? or do i ring for a home inspection?or dose
this happen after the test is past

Oh no not again!
It varies, depending on which office.
The short answer is, ring the DVLA, speak to your local office and get to speak to "the man who inspects kitcars".
Agree a date with him/her to inspect it, they need to see a chassis number and determine from the vehicle and your supporting paperwork that it is
indeeed what you say it is and what it is built from. This may be at your house or their office, the sooner its done the better, to reduce any delay
in registering when you've passed the SVA.
