MOT rear wiper

Does anyone know if the rear wiper on a tin top is an MOT point?

Ours ahs broken just before the MOT on thursday and i don't know if i should be taking the morning off work to get a new arm?

If fitted then rearwipe system is supposed to be functional on MoT.

my old fiat tipo (now my dads) doesnt have a working rear wiper system and it passes MOT fine.

phone an MOT station and ask. Just to check.

It Does Not have to work. I had the same thing and it was not an MOT fail.
