for those of you who have recently passed SVA...do you need a steering lock ?

i passed without 20 months ago, you need 2 forms of security though ie key and fia switch or another form of isolation for the engine

No you dont.

I removed complete Sierra barrel etc. Fitted dash mounted key switch and seperate immobiliser = 2 forms of security.

Just to back them up, I passed just with ignition key and FIA battery switch.

thats a relife,ive made my steering column "slim and uncluttered" didnt want to have to make another one
