cable ties
Hi all apart from brake / fuel pipe, can most other pipes / cable be secured using cable ties for SVA.
Looking at securing rad hoses, handbrake cable and the loom.
Thanks

Yes! They have to applied reasonably frequently to comply with the SVA regs but yes all those are okay CT'd...
Using a loop of insulating / vinyl / gaffer tape meanwhile to hold things onto the chassis rail is not okay (as I found out at my first SVA)....

Better than wrapping around the chassis rails use these fixed with screws or rivets.

You can purchase cable ties that are re-sealable. They have a little plastic lever so that you can undo them again. These are useful in the engine bay
for HT leads and the like. Use them with clips mentioned above for a super neat installation. HTH
"just like that !"

Just watch that the ties aren't likely to cut through whatever they're holding... in other words, they're holding, but not
cutting.
