Top Seatbelt Mounts
How high do you think the sva man will allow me to put my mounts, I'm fixing a small bench seat to the runners so the 450 won't be an
issue but would preferably want these mounts as high as possible so if I decide to put in "proper" seats then I won't come accross a
potential safety issue, the 450 measurment is there for a reason I guess, probably to try a stop the spine from compacting damage.
Top mount picture below.
I have also made a diagonal bracket that looks much the same as these top ones for the bottom of the threaded section.
Any thoughts are welcome.
Cheers
Rich

If you fix your top points to high , the sva man will have issues with it, its down to leverage, if you do fix them high, weld something in front of
them to give extra strength.

I suppose what I'm asking is what have other people got away with?
I'm hoping for about 1" higher than the top rail.
Does anbody also know if it's possible email the sva center directly asking questions like "how high can you go without having to add
additional support?"
Thanks
Rich

Mine where less than 1" higher but he still had an issue with it, he let me off with just reversing the washer round which connects the belt
bracket.
