racetech f1 interior mirror
is the facetech f1 interior mirror SVA ok or has some passed the SVA with one in there car??

I would also like to know if anyone has passed with this mirror, as i have one fitted! i presume you mean the centre mounted one?
I think you need to trim the edge of the mirror on the convex style, but not 100% sure.

I failed with one only a couple of weeks ago. They didn't like the fact that it wasn't e-marked and that the edges were sharp, although it
did meet the requirements for size.
I asked if trimming it with edging would allow it to pass, but they were still adamant that it just wouldn't do :-(

I put some heatshrink over the nut on the stem and glued some edging around the mirror edge and passed SVA with it last summer.
The tester even said what a fantastic panoramic rear view it gave, it was the convex version.

None of my mirrors have E marks and they passed, they just have to conform to the standard.
