Hand Brake Warning Light

Is it a SVA requirement to have a hand brake warning light?

I currently only have a warning light for the low brake fluid reservoir.

Cheers,

You need to be able to test the light from the driving position. This is usually done by the handbrake switch, but can also be done off a push button on the dash.

There is no requirement for a handbrake warning light as you put it.

handbrake

You do not need a warning light to indicate that the handbrake is on.

As above most people use the handbrake micro switch to test the low fluid light.
