Fog lamps

I know they must be vertical and either on the centre line of the car or to the drivers side if one fitted but can I fit two fog lamps. One each side of the rear panel?

The SVA book talks about one lamp but then later gives mention to two being fitted.

Tintops can have two, so why can't you?

I think it means at least one. In the angles of visibility column of the Annex 1 table it explicitly says 'if two lamps are fitted'. Tintop have one each side so I can't see any problems with that.

Remember there's a minimum separation distance of 100mm from a brake light as well.

If it looks wrong it probably is wrong.

Isnt the separation distance only valid where a purposely designed cluster isnt used - ie if use seperate lamps??? Cant remember the details now.

A lot of OE clusters have the fog lamp built in iirc.
