How Many Seats....

do I need for SVA?

Can I get away with one? Just the drivers seat on runners, or will it pi€€ the tester off and make him suspicious?

Nothing underhand here, just trying to minimise the cost and fail sheet

Wouldn't it then go on the documentation as a single seater? Wonder if that would cause trouble with mot's and insurance later..

Just a thought

could you not just fit seat belts and say that you expect the passenger to sit on the floor? and then put in a seat at a later date

I managed to SVA with one seat and register it with DVLA as two seats on the same day in the same condition.

I was expecting to have to play around with the handbrake which would have been a real PITA with the passenger seat in. I think I just put different things on the SVA application and the DVLA registration forms.
