Bumpers
I am the first to get the SVA done here in malta.
I just got mine finished last thurs (it took 3 days to complete all sections). The standards used are the same as the british ones (in fact the manual
is almost identical).
A failure point I had was no rear protection for the fuel tank. I dont see many 7-replicas with a rear bumper but I was told about this directive
70/221/EEC
What do you guys so about it? And if anyone has some easy lo-cost idea how to sort it out please send me some photos.
One thing I thought of was to put the spare tyre at the rear, so if anyone has any photos as to how to make the mounting I'd appreciate.

"vehicles for which a rear protective device is incompatible with their use. "
I wouldve thought that the steel that supports the tank from underneath that is right at the back of the car in line with the trailing edge of the
tank is the "protection" the tank is given

bend a piece of 50mm tube as a bumper and bolt it to the side sections under the rear arches?
then it can always 'drop off' after without leaving any visible damage.
