gillingham SVA
has any one had experience with the gillingham SVA center?
things to look out for, testers to try and get etc???

Always good whenever I've been there. At my SVA they tried their hardest to get my car through - altered the emissions for me, told me to drive
off rounfd the block to clear the system, helped to adjust headlights etc. in the end, the only thing they couldn't get me round was the speedo
(failed @ 70)
TONY is the guy to get although there are only a couple left now and they all seem to be OK

Yes been there with 2 cars,
very helpfull and friendly, with the westfield 11 the tester took the seat squabs out so the seat to upper belt fixing point measurment passed.
Will be taking the viento ther in the next few weeks.

Mine went through in October 2005. Great bloke (Ian, I think), really helpful, let me tighten up weeping brake pipe unions, adjust headlights, etc....
and I passed!

Tony is THE MAN as far as I'm concerned - he bent over backwards to get my car through.
