Low slung pipework...Is it SVA ok?
I dont have a picture...But am I likley to have any problems passing the SVA with coolant hoses exposed under the car?
It needs to be moved inside the car, but idealy i want to do that after SVA....Mainly due to lack of time at the moment.
Will Mr inspector object to a rubber coolant hose exposed and hanging down under the car? (its not quite the lowest part under the front of the car,
but it almost is)
And is it ok and acceptable to cable tie the hoses to the chassis?
I know its no an ideal solutuion...but is it going to pass?

I don't think a coolant hose will present a problem but I suppose how low it is. My coolant hose is actually the lowest part of my car, being
about 10mm below the chassis. It oftens clips speed bumps so I keep a close eye on it for damage - but it still passed SVA.

Its about 4" off the road...so it might catch on ramps if I have to go up/down any...
Its just going to take me hours of work to move it, if I can get some pipe in time when I really want to spend the time working on other slightly more
crucial things like the brakes...
Are cableties ok for holding the hose inplace?

I used cable ties in some parts but watch that you don't crush the hose, remembering that they will be much softer when hot.

I would have thought it would only be an ssue at SVA if it prevents a part of the test being completed.
