will I get an age related plate

I'm using a scooter as the donor for my new project. I'm using the engine, transmission, rear "axle" wheel and brake and the rear suspension from the donor.

The front wheels and brakes are off a mini and the steering from a Bedford rascal.

Is the rear end stuff enough to get an 06 plate like the donor or will it be a Q?

I thought that your emissions test was in relation to your engine age which would be an 06 irrespective if it were on a Q ?

Stand to be corrected there though.

The way I see it if you have a chasiis manufactured by a 'specialist' () then you'd just need two major components.

Look under kit conversions.

Being a trike it has to pass bike emissions tests. As the donor is Euro3 compliant to start with, emissions will be a breeze.

So do I have to be a kit manufacturer with my home made chassis to get on 06?
