How long for a test date

I applied for a SVA date 3 weeks ago, and have still heard nothing. They have cashed the cheque though. How long has every one else waited, before I start to phone them.

Cheers,

B

not long enough... seriously though, it can take them 4-6 weeks to confirm. Have you had the follow up form yet, asking some additional questions?

The follow form came back in the same week, and I posted it back that night. Because they were that quick with the follow up form, I expected that the date would follow quite quickly. Obviously not bummer!!

I had to make a few calls regarding mine and they were able to tell me where in the process my application was etc. No need to pipe up at them, and it may highlight any issues they may be wanting to confirm from you but have not done so yet.

Form & cheque posted 28 March, request for amateur build form and photos & receipts soon after. Derby test centre rang me yesterday to set a date, but it's in bits again, so I had to say I'm not quite ready!

Yup, your local test station should be on the phone to you shortly, suggesting a few dates for you to chose from.
