documentation

just a quick question, are we saying that i need all documentation receipts etc, i took over the build from my bro who got bored and as far as i know he has "NO" recipts for any of it, he bought the ST chassis off ebay the engine from some guy the box elsewhere the list goes on
what im asking is what do i need??

i been wondering this too. I've got a receipt for the chassis, but not for the engine, axle, carbs, bodywork, wheels, brakes, shocks, front uprights, steering rack (so far...)

I guess a hand written receipt can easily be sourced for parts bought off ebay get mates to do them lol

or in fact, YOU bought all those parts from your brother didn't you?

I think the receipts thing is to show provenance for an age related or new registration - if you're going for a Q reg they're not so bothered.
Mind you I had plenty receipts from all manner of places & I'm sure Mrs DVLA clocked the pile even though they weren't inspected.
