Do I need a reverse light for MOT?
As my Tiger does not have one fitted.

In a word - no. You need a fog light plus the normal lights but no reverse which is why Tiger Sportscars dont supply one as standard in the kit.

nope. not needed.

even if its fitted, they don't even need to work by all accounts.
took my old E30 BMW for 3 mots (i think) and the reverse lights didn't work at any of them at 2 different garages. still passed

Passed an MOT today and I was sat in the car operating the switches. They didn't ask me to engage reverse when testing the lights so as above not required.

No due to the simple rule on the mot test stating that white light must not be showing at the rear hench the reason for a fail when you have a broken rear light unit that is showing white light
