Registering for VIN

I have written to my local DVLA office (Bristol) explaining that I want a VIN for my Lotus 7 replic made up from an Escort2.

They have sent me V627/1 and V55/5 and said they want to inspect the car.

V627 is no problem and I have even found the receipts.

V55 does not appear to be correct form for the job, but I'll do as they say!

They didn't send a V355 explaining what I should do with the form, so can anyone advise on what they want in the following sections

7. Type of body/Vehicle
14. HC
18. NOx
19. Revenue Weight

Thanks

Go Here: http://www.totalkitcar.com/tkc_article_123.shtml

The first item should be "convertible" i think. The other three don't apply.

HTH,
Matt.

V55 does seem wrong, but it isn't - just fill in what you can. Body type is convertible as Matt says, the rest leave blank.

Just fill in engine size/number, car dimensions and weight, colour, model, etc and leave all the strange ones.

When I sent mine back a chap rang me just to confirm a couple of things, then my number came though a couple of days later.
