Q13 would this do
Hi
Just filling out my SVA application. My car has an unmodified 2.0 pinto engine.
Would top power revs for a pinto engined car sound about right at 4500-5000?
Also would 115mph seem okay for a top speed for a pinto powered car?
After this forms in the post
Cheers all
Nigel

5500 I think. Only needed to know what revs to do the noise test at so put 5000.
Max speed is to check the tyres speed rating against. H rated are max 130mph, V is 149mph. As long as your max is less then your ok (don't put
70...they'll think your taking the pish).

As above. The official peak power was at 5500 but i'd go with 5000rpm. If the SVA tester wants to dispute it, he'll just use 5500rpm
anyway so go for the lower (but sensibly lower) figure.

So is it all running now mate??

thanks for the info
Yep Paul she is now up and running. Just need to fit the seats and claibrate the speedo which requires a mile drive unless I can figure out a way to
do it on axle stands.
Then just sort out headlight aim and front wheels both pointing straight ahead and it's job done.

the ron champio book gives idea about speed in the frist few pages.
from memory 1300 equates to 110 mph so you are a bit under.
