Reverse Box / Lever

Does the centre tunnel fall within the radius test area, I have a reverse box fitted and am unsure whether to fit the arm / lever through the tunnel before the SVA or after.

think it does, but if you put a ball type knob on the end how could it fail, its just like the gearlever

I didn't want a ball type top I wanted a 'T' shaped style lever, the main shaft of the lever will just be flat section ali so was worried about the radius of the edges etc

Maybe I should just fit afterwards

Why not change the knob after?

I could do, but not sure how I would fit a ball to a flat section of bar and then be able to remove afterwards

I believe the hole has to be a different shape...

Internal radius rules apply. Use edge trim on the shaft of the lever and radius the ends of your T bar.

If it's for the SVA test then why not just take the lever off for the test and put it back in after you've passed?

I was going to leave it off but my mate who is doing all the little metal work bits was already planning on making it all rounded, so will possibly fit it for SVA

Thanks for the advice
