V55/5

Hi,
When applying for an Inspection to verify the VIN and engine numbers (post SVA), do you need to send the LVLO the V55/5 and the BUILT UP VEHICLE INSPECTION REPORT?
If you need to send both, do you leave the bit on the V55/5 blank relating to how much road tax you want?
Or do you just send the BUILT UP VEHICLE INSPECTION REPORT now and send the V55/5 after SVA???????
Cheers,
Pat...

I sent all mine pre SVA, and soon as I had the MAC I got the plate, same day. Best bet is to find out who is the person who deals with kit car stuff at the office you are using, get their direct number and make them tell you exactly what they want from you before they will give you the reg. Then make sure they have the paperwork on their desk as soon as you can in the build. Half the time they don't have a clue what they are doing as they don't do too many kits, keep on at them and they will be glad to give you the reg and get rid of you.
