SVA monday morning. Fuel Pipe question...

Hi guys,

I bought 50mm ID (i think) fuel filler pipe (between aero cap and tank) from Europe Spares. It is the ribbed stuff that can be bent to any angle. I have either thrown out or lost the reciept and there are no markings on it to say it is for fuel. No markings at all come to mention it. Can anyone scan/email me a copy of a reciept or statment from manufacturer. Test is monday....... and i'm bricking it!!

Any help / advice is greatly appreciated

Thanks
Dan

I have only bought stuff from the website. So i have no catalogue. Great suggestion though. Maybe i could print off the webpage as a last resort. Do you think that would work?

I had that stuff.

They sent me through the specification of it. I am sure they can send you the same document. I don't know where my letter is.

I decided that it wasn't adequate for SVA as it was for air that contained some gaseous fuel. So I got some of that thicker stuff from RallyDesign.

If I were you, get the letter from Europa and hope. Maybe its alright.

Matt

I used the same stuff and I don't think they even questioned it as I'm sure they see it all the time . Did you keep any sort of reciept ?

re. down load from web site can't you just take a screen shot and paste it into a word or excel document ?

good luck with the test

If in doubt, buy a new peice with markings and replace it after the test if you really want it.
