VortX SVA Pass

Went for my retest this morning at beverley, and passed

test was at 8:00am, so set off at 6:15am and it was a great drive therem with quiet and dry roads, but then the heavens opened up on the way home, and we got a good soaking... didnt bother me in the slightest though as i have my mac certificate.

just sorting out DVLA now

Must admit the DVLA contacted me within 2 days of submitting my paperwork (admittedly I put cash in the envelope and hand delivered it)

However the earliest date for inspection they could offer was may 8th

Another one to hit the road shortly following your trip to DVLA - and another Yorkshire one at that - or do you class yourself as Humberside

it used to be South Humberside, its currently North East Lincs, but its been proposed to change the region to "Great Grimsby and Cleethorpes"

ahh well i suppose they have to blow all that council tax we pay on something, and this way we can see where all the money has gone.

i went to lincoln DVLA earlier, but they werent happy about the old Bike engine/engine&gearbox in one / 1 reconditioned item for a new reg

Could you not take a schematic of the engine\box and show them that they physically can't be separated and as such are classed as one unit - which has been reconditioned ?
What about a letter from your local Yamaha dealer stating the gearbox can not be supplied separate to the engine ?
