bias bar and iva ???

Note 5: Bias bars and other mechanical adjusting devices fitted to twin master cylinders must have no means of adjustment. However they will be deemed acceptable if the all nuts etc are fully welded to their relative threads and all the threads originally intended to provide adjustment are welded along their length i.e. permanently rendering them un-adjustable.

any one got through with on

dax have put cars through with them. Just completely weld them all up once adjusted.

they adjust leverage between the master cylinders.

Ive made a non adjustable one for my iva but thats a loooooong way of.

the bearing is held in the middle by circlips. turning the bar pushes the bearing from side to side

When i passed SVA i was told that the bar had to be welded not just pinned so just put a tack on the nut/thread and they were happy with that.
So yes, i passed(SVA) with a welded bias bar.
Just make sure its setup propley before you weld it
